The third meeting of the China-Hungary local cooperation mechanism and the China-Hungary cross-border matchmaking meeting were successfully held on the 24th in a combination of online and offline.
Liu Bo, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, said in a video speech that in the first three quarters of this year, the bilateral trade volume between China and Hungary reached 11.68 billion US dollars, and continued to maintain a growth momentum. The mayors or deputy mayors of Zhengzhou City, Sanmenxia City in China, and Churgo City, Szolnok City, and Centes City in Hungary introduced their respective city profiles, investment and business environments, and industrial development opportunities at the meeting. In the cross-border matchmaking session, 8 Chinese and Hungarian companies conducted a road show promotion, and 20 Hungarian companies precisely matched with 10 companies from Henan Province, China, covering daily chemical, information and communication technology, food and other industries.
The meeting was jointly organized by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province, the Department of Commerce of Henan Province, and China Construction Bank. The whole event was broadcast live on CCB's cross-border intelligent matching platform, and nearly a hundred companies watched it online.
The China-Hungary local cooperation mechanism was officially launched in November 2020.
